Independant study: Blue is for Nightmare

In the book I read for my independant study the young girl has nightmares to tell the future. This book really did not relate to my big question, because the book did not get into enough depth about the nature of the girl to really compare the two. Nuture by her friends and school did impact her thinking but then again society impacts everyone's decisions. The question is does the nature part play a big impact on the way the person is nurtured.
